British Invasion

We were in the throws of a desperate struggle for freedom. Not the type that in 1778 brought the Frigate HMS Somerset to her final resting place less than a mile from our current location along Peaked Hill Bar. No, this time, we were on the same side of a two part struggle. You see, it started when Jared, (long time down cape resident) and his buddies from across the pond had thought it was a great idea to have a guy weekend at Jared’s place on the Cape. Jamie, was fast into a nice Striper when the fish wrapped around a lobster buoy. Americans and Brits used an equal amount of brain and brawn to succeed. Eventually, the fish was won, the buoy freed and peace prevailed!
