As the saying goes, sometimes you catch the fish and other times the fish catch you! Our die hard fisherman, or Tuna fisherman, (depending on the season) John Conkey drove three hours to arrive at the Pamet Harbor by 6am. The promise of a chance at catching a large Striped Bass was the lure that teased him out of his slumber and to the dock. He wasn’t let down. The Fish Gods smiled on John for most of the morning, as he caught his limit and started to release fish. John saved his best for last, as the largest fish caught ended up as the fitting end to a wonderful trip.
